Above all, the Drummondville company wanted a fully automated, unattended solution using the latest technology.
The installed weighing system includes gates, transaction kiosks, remote displays with integrated traffic lights, and a detection system with electromagnetic loops that detects arriving trucks and then confirms that they are correctly positioned for weighing.
To identify trucks, the company chose QR codes displayed on drivers’ smartphones and scanned by optical readers integrated into the transaction kiosks.
Everything was planned to simplify the driver's work while giving Entosystem access to real-time data.
